Dr. Tabitha Okech is a Health Technology Assessment Specialist with training in pharmacy and epidemiology. Her work focuses on generating, synthesising, and translating evidence to inform policy and investment decisions within a One Health framework, with a strong emphasis on antimicrobial stewardship and value-based health interventions.
Within the One Health Antimicrobial Action Network (OHAAN), Dr. Okech provides methodological leadership in economic and epidemiological evaluation of antimicrobial and infection prevention interventions across human, animal, and environmental health sectors. She contributes to capacity strengthening through training, mentorship, and applied research, supporting the uptake of robust, evidence-informed approaches to AMR mitigation.
She is committed to interdisciplinary collaboration and policy-relevant research that strengthens decision-making, preserves antimicrobial effectiveness, and improves health outcomes across interconnected systems.
